Truly, nothing should surprise me anymore. The elven mage Osiris turned a potentially lethal encounter with a Dragon Zombie into a enormously useful tool (albeit an evil and unnatural one) with a relatively simple command undead spell. Just when I thought we would be able to turn the tide of the undead plague, I find myself with my companions back in Faerun. A portal? Some mighty spell? Divine intervention? Gods only know. We're not in Aglarond mind you, but certainly home in a more general sense. I feel the full presence and might of the Seldarine with me again.
Having escaped from the previous wretched realm of evil, another noble occupation has presented itself. The first village to which we arrived has been beset by the suspicious disappearance of many of the townsfolk. Foul play is suspected and we have agreed to investigate. Being back in Faerun to provide assistance to these people in need is much more to my liking than trying to survive the plague of damned abominations that we left behind us.
