IMPORTANT
Hey DM, I have a new player wanting to know if he could join the group. If there is a way we could fit him in the group or if theres room in the house. He will have a ride to the game so he will need the address, if he is able to join. I could give you his email if you need it.

A few things have to be worked out for a new player.
1) We might still have someone on the waiting list, John Gonzales and Aaron (Jon's brother).
2) The existing group needs to discuss and decide if they would like a new player at this time. The reason for this is because we have 7 players right now. Anytime we have over 4 players, it should be approved by a majority of existing players before we increase the group size. The available room for the player to actually sit in the room is also a factor.
3) After that, I would want to meet with the player before the game, determine playing experience, personality, and in the case of underage players: permission from their parents.
We can add the person to the waiting list if the other two criteria (2 and 3) are met. And some of the waiting list people may be unable or unwilling to join at any given time, so that is a way they could move up on the list.
Other group members are welcome to comment here on the issue as well.
Okay thanks for the feed back. I'll tell him.
Didn't realize that we had that many people and or a waiting list.
1) Xerxes
2) Osiris
3) Korinth
4) Olmo
5) Baal
6) Chel
7) Fate
lol yeah we have 7 players right now.
We have pretty much been over this before. We had been saving a seat for Marshall and he has returned bringing Sarah with him. This puts us at the point where we really can't add anyone else. Not only do we run into problems with integrating a new player into our gaming style, but with this many players it ends up dragging out every aspect of game play. Whether we are in combat, or shopping, or role playing. With that many gamers it takes so long to accomplish anything that it ends up taking away from the experience. There is also the problem of having too many bodies around the "game table". We have all experienced being too cramped, and/or too hot.
Currently my vote is to not add any more players to the game at this time. If by some unfortunate chance we lose one of our current players then we should consider possible replacements. If we hadn't lost Michael, then we would probably be overcrowded right now.
I agree with Scott on this. We do have a lot of people and not a lot of room. I think if we had more room we still couldn't put another person in the game. But my friend is an experienced player. But I still agree with Scott on this. I guess we could just add him to the list of people.
On another note I think that I will open up my on game and still game with our group. That might be fun but might be hectic. ( don't think that I spelt hectic right but you know what I mean
I'm just wondering who is Deimos The Demi-Lich? But on another note, I would have to agree with Scott. I don't mind adding another player but at this time that just might be to much.
John it's Junior. I changed my name in honor of beating the old D&D arcade game. The bosses name was Deimos and he was a Demilich or lich I can't remember which one he was. It just sounded cool so I changed it.
