Today I had a nice surprise waiting for me at work. One of
the owner’s kin was in the office today
It was a big surprise especially he had been assumed dead. I
have had good dealings with him in the past and knew him from my youth. So, I was
very glad to see him. After a while of catching up he informed me of his
current events. He shared with me the magnitude of the spoils from his journeys.
I was floored. My wings were almost paralyzed. I think he noticed, and quickly
informed me that he would no longer be traveling with them and would like to
find someone to take his place. My eyes began to shift about the room to see if
anyone else had heard, with my hand firmly on my chain. He continued about
warning of grave danger and of dangers past. I had to stop him before anyone
else overheard.
I told him he had found what he was looking for and that I would
go. ” counting on our past and or work history to sway him from looking elsewhere”
he agreed that I would be a good fit. And with the shake of a finger the deal
was struck. I would accompany him back to Farshore. my new life would begin
